The Manager, Acquisition - Site & SEO, Proprietory Cards Services, is responsible for developing and executing a multi-channel acquisition strategy to drive new card acquisition and billings growth across Australia and New Zealand. It is a 10 months Secondment role.
The role will be responsible for driving lower funnel and organic acquisition growth, through Digital Site & Capability development, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and effective collaboration across the business to improve our acquisition and application decisioning processes.
Reporting to the Director, Digital Acquisition, Australia and New Zealand, this role will suit someone who enjoys a diverse, fast-paced team, focused on building the future of American Express by driving results. The successful candidate will bring a strong digital mindset with deep performance experience and a track record in digital product innovation, to continue our advancement in and focus on digital marketing channels and capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Responsible for development and implementation of innovative strategies to deliver value to customers, that improve the efficiency of the acquisition channel across American Express Site & SEO:

Identify and leverage scalable opportunities to drive continued card and billings acceleration and growth.

Lead, develop and manage a team of digital marketing professionals.

Responsible for building strong relationships with central colleagues to develop and evolve channel capabilities to drive the most cost effective and profitable volume growth.

Lead the optimisation of each layer of the acquisition funnel through digital analytics insights and testing innovation.

Work side-by-side with acquisition channel managers responsible for Display Media, Search, Affiliate, Partnerships, MGM & Early Engagement to drive cross-channel efficiency through the acquisition funnel.

Work closely with key business partners including Product Teams, Finance, Risk and New Accounts to ensure alignment and most effective strategies being developed.

Maintain market awareness of both competitors and technological advances to analyse, plan and develop future strategic plans for acquisition.
Key Requirements:

Tenured marketing professional with 5+ years of digital capability.

Experience in managing and driving demonstrable value through multiple stakeholder relationships.
