The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and agile HR Business Partner to join our People & Culture team at Ampol. As our HR Partner within the Retail Business, you will partner leaders across Field Operations, leading teams across circa 610 Retail stores. You will support and enable effective People and Culture activities, continuous improvement and delivery of the Operations and P&C plans.
This is a nine month, full – time temporary position, reporting to the Head of People and Culture, Retail. The role can be based in Brisbane (Lytton or Fortitude Valley), Sydney (Alexandria), or Melbourne. We operate in a hybrid environment and are open to applicants who want to consider a four-day work week.
What you will do:
- Partner with regional leaders, enabling them to make strategic P&C decisions.
- Connect leaders with the P&C Centre of Excellence teams, contextualising information to drive practical and innovative outcomes.
- Engage with regional leaders on change management activities and build capability.
- Support the delivery of Employment Relations improvement activity.
- Support with key projects across Culture, Engagement, Performance and Growth and cyclical HR Activities.
About you:
- You are an experienced HR Professional who has worked across different industries, ideally one of those will Retail or in an industry that is Field based.
- You are passionate about building relationships with the business and acting as a trusted advisor.
- You are interested in engaging with stakeholders to learn about their businesses, identifying what is unique and what is core across the group.
- You are confident and apply practical yet innovative solutions when challenging leaders, managing priorities, and solving problems.
