About the role:
Reporting to our Reliability and Maintenance Mechanical Lead, you will play a key role in Supporting the SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP-PM) computerised maintenance management system implemented in Ampol Terminals, Ampol managed Aviation Facilities, Sydney to Newcastle Pipeline (SNP). Work Notifications will be managed for planned and reactive activities and you will have plenty of opportunity to continuously improve and audit the system as well as bringing strong documentation skills to administer various activities through our document management system (DMS). A varied role also offering planning, scheduling & supervision of the reliability and maintenance field, inspection and repair activities and training. Looking for individuals comfortable running monthly meetings to deliver on status updates, as this will be an integral part of this role.
There will be travel requirement to undertake audits for compliance and improvement on an average of 1 week every second month.
Key responsibilities:
- Support to Terminals/Aviation/SNP/Engineering for SAP-PM
- Develop and implement comprehensive auditing process for SAP-PM maintenance process and content
- Manage SAP-PM Master documents, forms and equipment manuals
- Coordinate ongoing SAP-PM improvement process
- Integrate OE requirements
- Manage assigned R&M inspection, testing, calibration and equipment repair field work
Key skills and experience:
- Trade (fitter/machinist or electrical/instrument with cross trade knowledge/experience) and/or tertiary qualifications in engineering or related fields.
- Strong computerised maintenance management system (SAP preferred) skills – preferably in an administration and/or planning/scheduling role.
- Strong project management skills to achieve required R&M project cost, schedule and quality targets - always with excellent levels of stakeholder engagement and customer satisfaction.
- Strong safety focus and awareness
- Relevant experience in preventative and reactive maintenance of Fuels Infrastructure.
- Minimum 2 year petroleum industry related experience and/or hazardous environment is desirable.
- Able to communicate easily and effectively with all internal and external stakeholders many of whom are at remote locations
- Proven history of applying HSSE requirements (Operational Excellence and Loss Prevention System principals) for the safe, and incident free, execution of all field work.
