About the role:
The Project Specialist supports the development of a range of Future Energy technical initiatives. These initiatives will be variable and will be undertaken on an assignment basis dependent on the engineering skills required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support technical solutions for project development
- Contribute to robust project plans to ensure effective planning for resources (including people and funding)
- Contribute to accurate project cost estimates and assist in actively managing cash flows including approvals, forecasting and payments
- Ensure project quality in terms of reliability and operability Provide engineering capability to assigned projects
This is 12-month maximum term contract based in Brisbane QLD.
About you:
You will have 2-5 years of post-graduate experience in project engineering in a manufacturing, electricity or energy industry commercial business is preferred.
Supporting your business acumen will be a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline including Engineering, Project Management or Renewable Energy.
Key skills and experience:
- Good working knowledge of a specific relevant engineering discipline
- Demonstrated strength in stakeholder engagement on cross functional issues
- Strong (verbal and written) communication skills including facilitation and well developed analytical, budgeting and cash flow skills
- Broader range of skills and exposure developed across different areas of the Ampol organisation or energy industry
