The objective of the Future Energy team is to evolve our energy offering to ensure we continue to meet the ongoing needs of our customers and deliver an energy offering to best leverage marketplace opportunities as they arise.
About the role:
The purpose of the Big Data Engineer is to develop the data pipeline, ingestion, data model, query and report development and optimisation on the big data platform. Strong technical skills on big data technology is essential for this role, and ideally you will have experience in platform engineering.
Our IT team strives to have a great culture of support and flexibility to provide you with an optimal working environment. The current Big Data engineering environment is highly modern, utilising tools such as Talend, Snowflake, Dataiku, Cloudera and Azure.
