About the role:
In this role, you will join a newly created team to support the implementation of a new best in class card platform and ensure the application remains operational at all times. You will work with the business to prioritise the product roadmap ensure changes associated with the platform’s operation are managed in a proactive and effective manner.
You will be joining Ampol in a journey of growth and transformation as we build, scale and digitalise our card platform.
Based in Alexandria, with available car parking and transport options, this is a Hybrid role with work from home flexibility.
Key responsibilities:

Be the business analyst and internal consultant for all card related applications, meet with business users to gather and analyse business requirements.

Proactively identify enhancement opportunities both in terms of system functionality and business process design. Analyse workflow to create process maps and isolate areas of potential improvement.

Perform Third Party Supplier Management for all enhancements and fixes to be delivered. Act as design authority for third party technical specifications. Review, test and approve technical solutions built by third party suppliers of application development services. Assist with Supplier Review Meetings

Performs service acceptance role for Applications to ensure outsourcer developed solutions meet user requirements and are appropriately tested and implemented in line with Caltex standards.

Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality, and user friendliness of system enhancement/development.

Provide end user assistance, preparing material and providing training and assistance to end-users following implementation.
About you:
You will have experience working in IT operations and exposure to working on different platforms to support project rollouts. You will be excited to work with the first Australian company to use this software which is a best-in-class European payment processing platform.
Key skills and experience:

Relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience in a similar position

Extensive IT experience and general IT experience (applications and/or infrastructure) including systemic knowledge of IT development, operational and change

Demonstrated experience in design, implementation, measurement and tracking of operational key performance indicators

Experience in management of third-party suppliers of application development and maintenance services in a complex outsourcing environment
