About the role:
Reporting to the QSR Training and Engagement Advisor, this role will require you to be the first point of contact and support for the retail QSR function, in particular, the Hungry Jacks portfolio. This role requires you to assist with training, support administrative functions and ensuring restaurant engagement to help build organisational capability and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the training advisor with the development of hiring and training plans for new team
- Coordinate all new supplier/contractor agreements adhering to the Ampol policies
- Manage the QSR cost centre to ensure all costs are accounted for
- Support QSR Operations Manager in additional tasks required
- Drive health and safety tools completion within restaurants
- Be an Operations expert, support store operations as required
About you:
You will be a savvy multi-tasker and a highly ambitious individual who brings strong administrative and coordinating skills to the role. This role would suit an individual with experience in retail, hospitality, the QSR space or previous exposure to retail store management.
You will have the ability to work in highly demanding situations and will require the ability to develop training and hiring plans and manage costs for the QSR cost centre. You will need strong written and communication skills, with the ability to support, liaise and facilitate purposeful conversations with various stakeholders whilst also acting as an operations expert to support store operations as required.
Key skills and experience:
- Proven practical experience in hospitality, QSR or retail operations, ideally store management or above – evidently, with a strong administrative background.
- Ability to multi-task and display strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve operational outcomes.
- Financial acumen with a strong understanding of deciphering a P&L
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently/autonomously.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams skills required.
- Experience with store-related reporting will be desirable.
