The role:

As a Product Owner, you’ll manage a suite of Applications & Infrastructure Solutions that are the underpinning technology enablers for the Ampol B2B division. You’ll take us further by:

Responsible for the application management of the suite of Products within FSC.

Manage Product release pipeline according to the release strategy, incorporating resolved defects, change requests and project demands.

Act as an advocate for the Products and provide guidance and Product functional/technical knowledge to Business users.

Prepare and maintain individual Product roadmaps, incorporating vendor roadmaps and Ampol projects and change requests.

Proactively look for improvements in efficiencies in Products (i.e. application, configuration, services, functionality, vendor engagement, etc.)
-
Work with the Technology Manager to Provide input to Technology strategy.
-
Provide input, review and approve Solution Designs for new/update Products transitioning from Project to BAU.
-
Build and maintain effective working relationships with external vendors and suppliers in support of the Products.
-
Report on key Product SLA’s and KPI’s against agreed baselines, manage any deviations.
This is a permanent position based in our Alexandria, Sydney HQ, with flexible, hybrid work options available.
About You:

Proven experience in Application Management and Product lifecycle
-
Sound general IT experience (applications and/or infrastructure) including systemic knowledge of IT development, operational and change management processes and methodologies
-
Operational performance management of external suppliers
-
Experience in large and complex working environment
-
Business analyst and/or support experience required
-
Proven experience in Agile Scrum
-
Experience in vendor relationship management including MSA and Contract reviews
-
Working knowledge of ITIL processes and their application.

Planning, prioritisation, organisational skills and the capacity to be flexible in balancing priorities to meet/exceed customer needs
