About the role

Reporting to the Manager Talent & Engagement, a unique and fantastic opportunity for a passionate Insights Manager to make an impact in Organisational Development with a data, insights and project management bent. This role will closely work with Ampol’s P&C team in providing organisational insights and project management across Talent, Engagement and Early Careers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for gathering and analysing quantitative and qualitative data related to talent management and organisational development initiatives. Help prepare reports and metrics to assess the effectiveness of programs and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Creation of dashboards and presentations to communicate and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee the Engagement Survey Tool (Peakon) to ensure it continues to provide data and insights to inform the People Strategy and initiatives and P&C, our leaders and teams are equipped to use it to its full potential.
  • Oversee the Talent Management cycle to ensure integrity and consistency in how we evaluate, calibrate, assess, and develop talent across the group.
  • Support with Early Careers cycle and program development
  • Project & Change management responsibilities including influencing across P&C project teams – keeping timelines, directing delivery and strategic intent.
  • Ad hoc projects and BAU across the OD function as necessary.

About you

You are purpose-driven with a passion for People and Organisation Development. You have an analytical mindset with the ability to provide insights and thrive in working across multiple projects.

You possess a high work ethic with a ‘can do’ attitude who desires to make a difference in providing a positive impact.

Key skills and experience:

  • Relevant Tertiary degree level qualifications in Organisational Psychology, Human Behaviour or associated discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an OD role within a complex environment
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
