In Australia, we own and manage the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine, and the Tropicana Gold Mine (70% AGA owned and 30% Regis Resources). These are two of Western Australia’s premier gold operations, with ongoing investment and exploration taking place across both open pit and underground operations at each site.

Our Environmental Programme

The AGAA Environmental Graduate Programme provides a broad understanding of the mine site operations and the environmental support functions required to meet the compliance obligations of each site.

It is a two-year, structured programme based on best practices within the Environmental discipline and provides the opportunity for a permanent career. Opportunities are available to work at both our open pit and underground operations. Our Graduate Programme is underpinned by a tailored competency framework that matches your career interests and aligns them with real work and business opportunities. As a graduate, you develop your technical capability whilst also developing as a leader through professional training.

Graduates are based at one of our two Australian operations. These opportunities are FIFO from Perth or Kalgoorlie, giving you a chance to support and contribute to a thriving local community.

About you:

  • On a path to complete or studying towards completing a tertiary qualification in the relevant discipline, due to graduate by the end of this year
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and open minded with a creative and collaborative approach to problem solving
  • A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
  • Australian working rights
  • A valid Australian manual driver's license
