- Use spectral data integrated with other geological datasets to aid geological interpretation and identify and vector within mineral systems to mineralisation. A focus will be the deciphering of alteration patterns and zonation.
- Analyse and generate products from terrestrial (e.g. TerraSpec and core imaging) and remote sensing (e.g. satellite and airborne) spectral datasets.
- Monitor and advise regions to ensure quality control and best practice in collection, storage and use of spectral/remote sensing data across AGA’s projects and Greenfields Exploration.
- Educate, develop and mentor geologists to improve their understanding and practical application of spectral geology and remote sensing data and techniques.
- Participate in the review of internal and external projects and provide technical advice regarding geological models, controls on mineralization and work programs.
- Stay abreast of developments in spectral technology and techniques to ensure AGA remains at the leading edge of innovation
