  • Drive manufacturing excellence to strengthen the safe, reliable and compliant supply of Nuclear Medicine.

About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to join ANSTO's Nuclear Medicine business and play a key role in supporting the safe, reliable and efficient production of life-saving nuclear medicines. As a Production Maintenance Planner, you will work across critical facilities and assets, ensuring maintenance activities, systems and resources are aligned with operational priorities in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Working closely with maintenance, engineering, quality and production teams, you will optimise maintenance planning, SAP work management processes and critical spare parts strategies while identifying opportunities to improve asset reliability and performance. This role offers the opportunity to influence maintenance outcomes and contribute directly to operational excellence, compliance and the ongoing success of Nuclear Medicine operations.

About You

"We're looking for someone who wants to make a real impact, not just manage a maintenance plan. The right person will combine strong planning and SAP skills with a practical, collaborative approach, working with the team to improve reliability, streamline processes and build on existing systems and practices to drive continuous improvement.”

Colin Paynter - Nuclear Medicine Maintenance Manager

Your Duties and Responsibilities

Working closely with maintenance, engineering, quality and production teams, you will:

  • Develop and coordinate maintenance plans and schedules that support Nuclear Medicine facilities and assets.
  • Support and continuously improve SAP maintenance processes, master data to enhance planning effectiveness, compliance and asset performance
  • Maintain critical spare parts and SAP material master data, including Functional Locations BOMs
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance work orders across scheduled maintenance cycles and shutdowns.
  • Maintain equipment master data, functional locations, maintenance plans, task lists and BOMs within SAP PM
  • Analyse maintenance and asset performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support maintenance decision-making.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, compliance and operational excellence within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
