We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Site Support Facilities Coordinator – On Grid to join us in our Power & Electricity Transmission team in George Town, Tasmania on a full-time permanent basis.
As APA Group supports flexible working arrangements, this role offers the ability to work from home for part of the week, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates located outside the George Town area to apply and stay connected while maintaining work-life balance.
Reporting to the Manager Asset Operations - HVDC, you will play a key role in providing administrative support for On-Grid HVDC Interconnectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative & site services support to the On-Grid team.
- Financial Management: Assistance with financial management including creation of Purchase Orders, invoicing & payments.
- Communication and Co-ordination: Act as a central point of contact for administrative functions and assist with team co-ordination.
- Documentation Management: Maintain Operational documentation and organise for easy access.
- Contractor Management: Assist with administrative functions of contractor management and engagement.
Your background
- Organisational skills: Efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and ensure administrative deliverables are met.
- Communication skills: Effective communicate with team members and wide range of stakeholders.
- Problem-solving abilities: Proactively identify and address any issues and risks, proposing effective solutions.
- Attention to detail: Diligently review administrative documentation, invoicing and budgets to ensure accuracy.
Key Experience
- Working knowledge of Maximo and Workday or similar works and administrative management systems
- Proficiency in computer systems, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook & SharePoint
