We now have an exciting opportunity for a Project Accountant to join our Finance team on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Project Accounting Leader, this is a fantastic opportunity to work across a high-value portfolio of Power and Gas development projects, partnering closely with project and commercial leaders to drive financial performance across the project lifecycle.
You will play a key role in shaping project outcomes through financial insight, governance, and decision support.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Project Managers to drive financial performance across multiple projects
Support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking, ensuring accuracy and transparency
Deliver insightful reporting and provide commercial insights to support decision-making and project delivery outcomes
Monitor project costs, commitments and accruals to ensure alignment to approved budgets
Support project close-out activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy of final financials
Maintain strong financial controls, governance and data integrity across systems
Support asset capitalisation in line with accounting standards and internal policies
Your Background
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CA/CPA qualified or working towards desirable).
Proven experience in project or management accounting, ideally in infrastructure, energy, or construction
Strong understanding of project financials (forecasting, CAPEX, cost control)
Advanced Excel skills, with Power BI or similar analytics tools highly regarded
Confident communicator who can partner with non-finance stakeholders
