We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Technical Officer – Mechanical to join us in our Operations & Maintenance team in Kalgoorlie, WA on a full time permanent basis as a residential employee, 5/2 roster.
Reporting to the Team Leader Asset Operations Kalgoorlie, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems. This includes ensuring the safety and reliability of these systems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and complying with industry regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair mechanical systems to ensure safety and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to these systems.
- Comply with industry regulations and standards to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve the performance of mechanical systems.
- Provide technical support and training to other staff as needed.
- Working in both a team environment and autonomously as required.
Your background
- Strong technical skills with a good understanding of mechanical systems and infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to mechanical systems, , pipelines and flange management.
