We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Resource Planning Lead to join our Resourcing and Acquisition team in Brisbane or Melbourne on a fixed term basis for 12 months.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Resourcing & Acquisition, you will play a key role in providing consultative and analytical support to senior leaders across APA Group. Your ability to gain credibility and influence based on experience will drive the Resource Planning across the organisation. You are results driven and successful in managing multiple priorities with the ability to inform the business on various workforce constraints, and provide valuable data driven insights on workforce planning across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of suitable Workforce planning tools, systems and practices improving planning and resource delivery nationally across APA projects
- Develop workplace scenario recommendations using SEEK and LinkedIn Market Insights to meet short and long term staffing requirements
- Develop workforce metrics, dashboard, reporting and analytics on all Recruitment and contingent activities
- Manage the communication of resource plans, engagement types and position requirements for sourcing across the contracts admin and sourcing teams
- Support the Overall Contract Management practice, updating guides/process for issuing contractor agreements and ensure compliance of legislations affecting the resourcing related to contingent workers
Your background
- Relevant tertiary degree, HRM or Employment/Commerce Law
- Technical understanding of employment law and labour licensing gained from practical experience
- Relevant industry experience in HR, Talent Acquisition
- High Analytical skills with advanced proficiency in excel, understanding of PowerBi and Microsoft project advantageous
- Ability to think critically, synthesise information and utilise a thorough understanding of adult learning and communications principles to build leadership and talent development collateral and workshops
- Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
