We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Supply Chain Officer to join our Procurement Team in our Eagle Farm, Brisbane office on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Supply Chain and Inventory Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing operational supply chain (inventory management, purchasing and logistics) services for APA transmission and power infrastructure assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering predictable and reliable day to day supply chain services including activities associated with inventory, stock takes, purchasing, materials handling & packaging/ warehousing/ transportation for the Transmission and Power business units
- Supports the maintenance of stock levels, administering Maximo open purchase orders, expediting outstanding purchase orders and arranging transport of materials for the Transmission and Power business units
- Maintaining and supporting the inventory and warehousing systems and reporting for the main warehouse and remote stores for the Transmission and Power business units
- Supporting maintenance of vendor, item and contract master for the Transmission and Power business units
- Supporting Transmission & Power Procurement alignment with Infrastructure Procurement BU and Infrastructure Development Division strategy, planning frameworks and deliverables, including procedures, systems, tools and processes
- Developing and maintaining appropriate contacts and relationships at all levels within the Transmission and Power business units and externally with suppliers
About You
- Contemporary knowledge of inventory, warehouse and logistics and purchasing practices and trends
- Strong working knowledge of Maximo and Oracle
- Good level of business and financial literacy
- Delivery of success – strong track record of using commercial acumen and good judgement to effectively influence the business strategy
- Strategy formulation – ability to think strategically, share innovative ideas and influence business direction
- Communication – ability to effectively communicate with, persuade and influence others
