The Opportunity
We now have a great leadership opportunity available for a Regional Manager – Goldfields to join our Operations & Maintenance team in Western Australia on a full time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Manager Operations & Maintenance WA, you will play a pivotal role in leading teams and achieving results, through the state based teams, to safely maintain and operate the Power and Gas Transmission Assets located across the Goldfields region of WA.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and foster a positive climate to facilitate individual development, team performance to achieve company goals
- Facilitate safety improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all HS&E policies, practices, and procedures
- Evolve and sustain agile operations focused on developing and communicating best practice and innovative solutions
- Coach, develop and build a high performance operational structure
- Responsible for the management of assets, external services and suppliers
- Adhere to all financial processes and policies to ensure that on-time and on-budget quality outcomes are achieved
- Coordinate the provision of effective operations work within the region to maximise field time, equipment uptime, and completion of project works, preventative and corrective maintenance.
About You
- Proven ability to lead and foster diverse teams through engagement and collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to create change and achieve results through others
- Able to adapt to workplace change, to learn quickly and put new skills and knowledge to use
- Previous experience working within an operational and/or maintenance environment
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Experience and a passion for developing a positive safety team culture
About The Team
The APA operational team in the Goldfields region, services onshore energy assets, consisting of several gas compressor station, multiple gas laterals and the Gruyere power station. The team comprises of a mix of residential and FIFO technicians who work across a geographically wide area from Neds Creek in the North, South to Kambalda and as far East at the Tropicana and Gruyere mine sites.
The Goldfields team mainly comprises of Mechanical and Electrical trades.
