The Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Maintenance Scheduler to join our Planning and Scheduling team in Dandenong, Victoria on a 14 Month Fixed Term Contract with a proposed start date of the 31st of July 2023.
Reporting to the Planning Team Leader, you will play a key role in scheduling field operations maintenance works and related project activities whilst meeting the needs of various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed work schedules for maintenance and project work in accordance with APA works management processes
- Optimise Field Operations efficiency whilst taking in consideration asset type, location, accessibility, grouping and work scheduling
- Chair scheduling meetings to review new work, rescheduled work, future schedules, backlogs and outstanding actions
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure the delivery of optimised maintenance schedules
- Coordinate and manage key stakeholders to ensure service is responsive and timely in meeting requirement
Your background
- Trade Qualification and/or Tertiary Qualification in Engineering Field.
- Applicable maintenance scheduling and/or maintenance planning experience
- Applicable CMMS knowledge and experience
- Experience in Gas Pipeline, Mining, Refining, Oil & Gas or similar energy industry (Preferred)
- Advance computer skills and literacy with capability in Microsoft Excel
- Time management and organisational skills demonstrated by the ability to meet deadlines
- Proven collaboration and influencing skills with diverse internal and external stakeholders

The Planning and Scheduling team forms an integral part of the wider Engineering and Planning team. Via a collaborative and results oriented partnership, we provide optimised plans and schedules to our Operations and Maintenance stakeholders. We now have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and nimble team player to join us on a 14 months fixed term role.
