The Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity available for an Investor Relations Coordinator to join our Investor Relations team on Sydney office on a Permanent Full Time basis.
Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, you will be managing APA’s investor engagement program across both institutional and retail investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise, plan and manage investor event logistics including roadshows (domestic and overseas), results announcements, analyst and market briefings, investor days, site visits and annual meetings
- Prepare detailed schedules and briefing notes for analyst meetings and roadshows, and maintain an up-to-date CRM
- Assist in the development of investor-related communication materials including presentations and speeches, financial results, annual reports and resources
- Assist in preparation of periodic internal reports and resources such as the monthly Board investor relations report and Q&A documents
- Manage the Investor Relations email/inbox and any additional event email/inbox
- Manage the Investor section of APA’s website and blast mailout systems
- Support IR relationships with APA’s service providers
Your background
- Tertiary qualifications in Communication, Finance, Business, or Project or Event Management preferred but not essential
- Skilled proficiency in using relevant software, particularly word, PowerPoint, Excel, meeting platforms and CRM systems
- Previous experience of investor relations practices, standards and legal compliance requirements from prior investor relations experience for an ASX listed company or communications agency; or experience gained within finance or the investment industry
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness and a well-organised self-starter who can think innovatively about managing multiple tasks
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work to deadlines
- Able to develop and maintain a network of relationships (internal and external) at all levels that inspire trust and respect
About the Team
Investor Relations is a critical division at APA as a top ASX 50 listed company. IR facilitates investor and analyst external engagement as well as C-suite stakeholder engagement to ensure continuous disclosure is maintained. This will help private and institutional investors make informed decisions on whether to invest in APA. Creating and cascading APA’s vision and purpose alongside operational and financial performance ensures that internal and external stakeholders are informed on our ambitions and that APA secures high quality investors for the long term. This will assist the organisation to deliver against its ambition to be world class in energy solutions.
The Investor Relations team is working closely with a reputable CEO and a refreshed, diverse and energised Executive Leadership Team. Alongside an experienced General Manager Investor Relations and Head of Investor Relations, you will have an opportunity to further your skills and expertise in an ASX Top 50 Energy Infrastructure business environment.
