We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Network Maintenance Technician Electrical & Instrumentation to join our Networks team in Eagle Farm QLD, on a Permanent Fulltime basis.
Reporting to the Supervisor - System Monitoring, you will be a key team member of the Business Unit that is responsible for all aspects of gas network performance in distributing gas from the transmission supply interfaces to the customers meter outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensures that the optimum performance of the telemetry and SCADA system is maintained
- Perform preventative maintenance activities to ensure that the Network operates in a safe, efficient & effective manner
- Accountable for ensuring Preventative Maintenance activities complies with HSE and regulatory obligations
- Install, commission, test, calibrate, monitor, fault find and diagnose, repair, maintain, overhaul and service process control, instrumentation and electrical plant and equipment to enhance plant reliability and performance
- Provide strong customer focus to both internal and external stakeholders
About You
- Dual trade qualifications – electrical and instrumentation preferred
- A Queensland Electrical Work Licence and C Class driver’s license
- Demonstrated ability in maintenance and operations of instrumentation and control technologies and commissioning of SCADA facilities
- Competence and hazard awareness within an industrial process industry an advantage
- Good communicator with the ability to effectively liaise with internal staff and customers

Networks manages and operates local distribution networks and transmission pipelines that deliver gas to around 1.4 million households and businesses across Australia.
This is an exciting time for the Networks team, we are growing and expanding with many new projects, including 2032 Olympics. Also, we have a strong culture of continuous improvement and working towards Net Zero with the introduction of renewable green gas into the Gas Networks.
