We now have a high impact opportunity available for a Senior Analyst - Transformation to join our enterprise Strategy & Transformation team in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane office on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Head of Transformation, you will play a key role in accelerating APA’s strategic execution through close partnership with Divisions to define, structure and progress priority transformation initiatives. Combining structured problem-solving, modelling and cross-functional coordination, you will strengthen rigour, transparency and delivery discipline across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the framing and development of priority transformation initiatives, including opportunity definition, stakeholder alignment, data analysis and solution pathway design.
Partner with Divisions to apply structured problem-solving, data modelling and facilitate working sessions to develop initiatives and robust evidence-based recommendations.
Drive enterprise-wide alignment by identifying, tracking and managing interdependencies, risks and linkages across transformation initiatives.
Establish and maintain standardised transformation tools, artefacts and reporting frameworks to strengthen governance and execution discipline.
Develop clear, insights-led materials for Steering Committees, ELT and Board forums, distilling complex analysis into concise, decision-ready recommendations.
Provide transparency on portfolio and value delivery, monitoring strategic priorities, milestones, data quality and progress against transformation objectives.
Your background
You are a structured thinker who combines analytical depth with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in strategy, transformation, consulting, corporate development or a similar environment delivering complex programs of work.
Demonstrated structured, hypothesis-led problem-solving capability, with experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and synthesising ambiguity into evidence based, actionable recommendations
Confident data analysis, modelling and business case development skills.
Ability to manage dependencies, risks and cross-functional coordination in multi-stream programs.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, executive-ready materials.
High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity in reporting and governance routines.
Relevant industry experience (energy or infrastructure) is preferred but not essential.
This role offers exposure to enterprise-level initiatives and senior stakeholders, providing an opportunity to influence meaningful transformation across APA.
