We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Manager TMO to join us in our Transformation Services team in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane on a full time max-term basis until August 2027.
Reporting to the Head of Transformation Portfolio, you will play a key role in leading the Transformation Management Office (TMO), providing coordination, governance and optimisation of the transformation portfolio for the Operations Division. This role ensures strategic initiatives are prioritised, governed and delivered in a disciplined, value‑driven way, enabling senior leaders to make confident decisions and realise intended benefits.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Transformation Management Office, providing portfolio governance, reporting and assurance
- Establish and maintain standardised transformation tools, artefacts and reporting framework to strengthen governance and execution discipline
- Provide executive level insight and materials for Steering Committees across progress, risks, interdependencies and benefits realisation - distilling complex analysis into concise, decision-ready recommendations
- Provide transparency on portfolio and value delivery, monitoring strategic priorities, milestones, data quality and progress against transformation objectives
- Partner closely with senior leaders, sponsors and delivery leads to provide effective challenge, escalation and decision support
- Coordinate with various teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
Your background
- Experience in strategy, transformation, consulting or a similar environment delivering complex programs of work
- Demonstrable portfolio management and governance expertise
- Ability to manage dependencies, risks and cross-functional coordination in multi-stream programs
- Strong communications skills, with the ability to produce clear, executive-ready materials
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with ability to align diverse stakeholders
- Relevant industry experience (energy or infrastructure) is preferred by not essential

The Transformation Portfolio team defines, structures and governs the strategic transformation agenda for APAs Operations Division. The team provides enterprise level visibility and assurance across transformation initiatives, enabling disciplined delivery, informed decision making and benefits realisation across a complex portfolio.
