To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Contracts Management Lead to join our team.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations & Maintenance Support Manager, you will manage relationships with the contractors to assure delivery in terms of contract performance, compliance, budget & HSE requirements.
This is a Brisbane based position and may require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.
In addition you will:
- Define business requirements, scope and specifications in accordance with lead times and quality requirements;
- Manage overall contract delivery, ensuring Contractor performance and compliance are in accordance with the terms of the contractual instrument and ensure any necessarily consequent management is undertaken for poor contract performance or HSE breaches;
- Management of Contract spend and delivery of the Scope within the allocated budget and ACV including variations, claims and dispute management.
- Proactively recommend and lead opportunities for vendor consolidation, off contract spend reduction and general improvements to the contracting and procedure procedure and proceses.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safey environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Degree qualifications in a relevant field (engineering, supply chain);
- High level interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external relationships, including the establishment of strategic partnerships;
- High level analytical and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to undertake financial analysis of operational expenditure, technical contractual analysis report writing and preparation of management briefings and reports;
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage supplier agreements and to effectively monitor and manage supplier performance;
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical business practice;
- Demonstrated behaviours that engender cooperation, collaboration and teamwork.
