To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Senior Facilities Operator to join our team.

The Role
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will ensure safe on-site operations of gas compression, water and power facilities, with the aim to maximise availability and production.

This is a Dalby based position and an attractive regional allowance will apply to eligible local residents.

For DIDO workers, accommodation in Dalby’s Stayover Village will be provided whilst on shift.

In addition you will:
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment;
  • Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Model inclusive behaviours to create a safety environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
  • Ensure safe on-site operations of gas compression with the aim to maximise availability and production.
  • Experience working with Waukesha and Caterpillar gas engines
  • Undertake minor planned maintenance and inspection activities, as well as conduct first response asset failure intervention and troubleshooting activities.
  • Follow all prescribed Permit to Work and safe isolation practices including holding the positions of Permit Holder and Permit Authority as required.
  • Provide technical support and coaching to team members, demonstrate visible safety leadership and stand in as the Operations Supervisor to provide coverage as required
  • Work flexible shift patterns as required to meet operational requirements e.g participate in night shift and on call rosters.
  • Mentor other Facilities Operators and step up Supervisor as required

About You
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

To be considered for this role, you will have:
  • Recent Gas compression experience
  • Relevant trade qualifications (electrical or mechanical);
  • Certificate III in Process Plant Operations
  • Certificate III in Water Operations
  • Gas Test Atmosphere MSMWHS217 or equivalent
  • Open driver’s licence (Manual)
  • Light Vehicle Operations RIIVEH305 or PMASUP236
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using CMMS to record asset history, failure reporting and work order completion
  • SAP would be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability and competency to operate gas compression facilities
