To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Field Superintendent join our team in Dalby.

The Role

Reporting to the Production Manager Surat, the purpose of this role to ensure that safety, operating discipline, and work management is reliably executed across all our Surat Basin operations. Driving integration across our field operations, and Brisbane based central control room, production optimisation and energy trading teams is key.

This is a Dalby based position on a 15 / 13 roster rotation.

In addition you will:
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
  • Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
  • Fulfil the Company’s legal responsibilities including assuming the statutory role of “Site Safety Manager” in accordance with the Petroleum & Gas Act 2004 (Production and Safety).
  • Lead Emergency Management activities on site
  • Supervise and direct day to day operations to the highest level of safety (Target Zero) and environmental requirements.
  • Provide engineering and plant reliability oversight to lead optimisation projects of low risk and complexity.
  • Manage staff and contractors to achieve operational goals.

About You
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Extensive experience in oil and gas industries or similar operations including leading emergency response.
  • Proven experience in monitoring schedules and costs, risk mitigation to enable safe operations and timely project delivery.
  • Senior management and business leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to engage and liaise with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiating and influencing skills
  • Highly developed skills in business, operational and project risk identification, assessment and management.
  • Skills in strategic planning and execution of strategy to autonomously lead business to achieve company objectives.
