To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Principal Community
The Role
Reporting to the Community Manager, the purpose of this role is to plan and deliver targeted community engagement activities, supporting Arrow's social licence and reduction of non-technical risk in the delivery of its projects.
This position can be based either in Brisbane or Dalby and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.
In addition you will:
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
- Design, plan and manage locally based community engagement opportunities.
- Manage annual community surveys to seek feedback on Arrow’s engagement and activity within the community.
- Oversee the operation, maintenance and trend analysis of information.
- Work collaboratively across the business to identify issues and opportunities to improve landholder and community relationships.
About You
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, majoring in communications, marketing, public relations or journalism, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven experience working in the natural gas industry.
- Extensive experience delivering effective stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in managing complex external environments to effectively minimise risk.
- Demonstrated ability to champion non-technical risks through the business and work with project teams to minimise impact on the community.
- Demonstrated planning, program management, organisational and administrative skills.
- Knowledge of the local community will be highly regarded.
