To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Project Director to join our team.
The Role: Reporting to theChief Operating Officer , the Project Director will be responsible for safely delivering Arrow’s Surat Gas Project (SGP) in line with the approved Investment Proposal, ensuring a high level of quality assurance and control is maintained while delivering on planned schedule and budget. SGP project includes- wells, gathering, pipelines, compression and water facilities.
This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.
In addition, you will:
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
- Safely and successfully deliver each phase of the Surat Gas Project from sanction to commissioning including FID1, Wari Dhjuben, Girrahween, Jammat and Lynwood scopes delivering more than 1500 wells, associated gas and water gathering, compression facilities, pipelines, water facilities and supporting infrastructure.
- Identify, define, and integrate all regulatory, legislative, and contractual obligations into the project's schedule and budget.
- Proactively manage project risks and opportunities to ensure the project is executed safely and successfully, in line with the commitments made in the approved investment proposals (safety, quality, schedule and cost).
- Manage and lead the project and its resources, including employees and contractors to ensure that resources have the proper skills, capacity and competence to deliver the projects.
- Regularly report project status (Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost) to LT, Board and Shareholders.
About You
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
- University degree [OR] First degree [OR] Other Professional Qualification.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in the resource, energy or infrastructure industries with an emphasis on Australian onshore upstream CSG Project Delivery.
- At least 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager with extensive experience in all phases of project development and managing EPC/EPCM contracts.
- Demonstrable competence, proven track record, and ability to lead complex projects with significant risks, covering areas of the TECOP spectrum (technical, economic, commercial, organizational, and political), including HSSE, SP, and SD.
- Excellent interpersonal & leadership skills with experience in leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams at a senior level.
- Deep understanding of Queensland’s CSG and regulatory frameworks for accessing and developing petroleum resources.
- Experience in JV operating environments (desirable).
