About the Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and driven Engineering Recruitment Advisor to join our Early Careers Recruitment Team and help shape the next generation of engineering talent at ASC.
Reporting to the Early Careers Manager, you will lead high-volume recruitment for ASC’s Engineering Undergraduate and Graduate Programs, working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver successful hiring outcomes.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team that values innovation, continuous improvement, and a genuine commitment to developing early talent for Australia’s defence capability.
Responsibilities
- Complete end-to-end recruitment processes for Early Careers Program applicants including offer and checks.
- Partnering with business stakeholders to align with early careers engineering workforce needs and campaign plans.
- Attend and provide coordination support for various career fairs, universities and industry peak bodies (some interstate travel may be required).
- Facilitate assessment centres to identify best-fit candidates.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and procedures.
- Support candidates from application through to onboarding.
- Contribute to employer branding and continuous improvement initiatives.
About you 
- Minimum of 5 years’ recruitment experience or strong internal experience managing high-volume engineering recruitment.
- Confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and building strong working relationships.
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Confident supporting and presenting at early careers activities, representing the team and ASC with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
