ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. We have also been selected by the Australian Government to sustain and jointly build the nation’s nuclear-powered submarines – the largest and most complex industrial undertaking in Australia’s history.

Our work is interesting and meaningful, contributing directly to Australia’s national security. We offer rewarding roles that provide the opportunity to grow your career, and the flexibility to balance life and work. A career at ASC is like no other, delivering a deeper purpose we can all be proud of.

About the Opportunity

Help shape the future of digital tools across the business. In this role, you'll work with a wide range of teams to support the delivery, improvement, and governance of technology solutions that drive better outcomes.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex challenges, working with a variety of stakeholders, and helping drive practical solutions. You'll operate across a diverse technology landscape, from engineering and enterprise systems to cloud platforms and cybersecurity, while helping the organisation make informed decisions about its digital future.

You'll bring clarity to complex information, coordinate key activities, support informed decision-making, and help ensure digital tools deliver real value. If you're organised, curious, and enjoy working with people to solve problems and improve the way things work, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact.

This is a full-time opportunity based in SA.

Responsibilities

  • Support the governance and delivery of digital tools across the business.
  • Coordinate reviews, approvals, and key decision-making activities.
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation, records, and supporting evidence.
  • Gather and organise information from a range of stakeholders to support informed decisions.
  • Track actions, risks, issues, and decisions to keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Help translate business needs into practical and structured solutions.
  • Identify potential challenges early and help stakeholders navigate them.
  • Contribute to improving governance processes, user experience, and business outcomes.

About you

  • Degree qualified in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in IT, digital systems, engineering, business analysis, project coordination, or technology support environments.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality work.
  • Confident communicator who can build effective relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Enjoys analysing information, solving problems, and bringing clarity to complex situations.
  • Comfortable working with digital collaboration and productivity tools such as Microsoft 365.
  • Curious, proactive, and motivated to help improve processes, technology, and business outcomes.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.

To check your eligibility please visit the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency website.
