ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. About the Opportunity

This is a newly created role where you’ll play a key part in helping answer some of the organisation's most important workforce questions. You’ll be part of a newly establish Workforce Demand Planning team, working closely with the Workforce Requirements Specialist, business leaders and system and data owners, you'll help identify, source, improve the quality of and manage information for forecasting workforce demand.

What you'll do

You'll be helping build the foundations of Workforce Demand Planning capability across the program. You'll work with workforce demand and supply specialists, People& Culture teams, business leaders and system and data owners to have data available that can be turned into meaningful workforce insights that support Australia's submarine sustainment programs.

  • Build dashboards, reports and workforce analytics solutions
  • Analyse data from multiple sources to deliver actionable insights
  • Support workforce demand planning and forecasting
  • Improve data quality, governance and reporting standards
  • Partner with stakeholders to solve business problems through data
  • Drive continuous improvement and analytics capability

What you'll bring

You're a technically capable analyst who understands that great analytics is about solving business problems, not just wrangling data.

You'll bring:

  • Experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Data modelling, governance and data quality experience
  • Experience in data analytics, business intelligence or reporting
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards and data-driven insights
  • Experience working autonomously and managing competing priorities
  • A curious mindset and passion for solving problems
  • A strong commitment to team.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
