ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. We have also been selected by the Australian Government to sustain and jointly build the nation’s conventionally armed, nuclear-powered submarines – the largest and most complex industrial undertaking in Australia’s history.

Our work is interesting and meaningful, contributing directly to Australia’s national security. We offer rewarding roles that provide the opportunity to grow your career, and the flexibility to balance life and work. A career at ASC is like no other, delivering a deeper purpose we can all be proud of.

Based at ASC's Learning Centre in South Australia, you'll be the person who keeps development programs running smoothly, creating a seamless experience for participants, facilitators and stakeholders. From induction and professional development initiatives to talent, coaching and capability programs, you'll play a key role in bringing learning and development opportunities to life.

If you enjoy managing multiple moving parts, building relationships and seeing a well-executed program come together, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate development programs across the business
  • Schedule workshops, training sessions and events
  • Manage participant registrations, attendance and communications
  • Coordinate facilitators, guest speakers and vendors
  • Administer Learning Management System (LMS) enrolments and records
  • Prepare training materials and support both face-to-face and virtual program delivery
  • Manage the Organisational Development inbox and stakeholder enquiries
  • Support continuous improvement through participant feedback and program evaluations

About you

You're someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys working with people and can confidently manage competing priorities.

You'll bring:

  • Experience coordinating people-focused programs within Human Resources, People& Culture, Recruitment, Learning& Development or a similar function
  • Experience managing vendors, external partners and program budgets
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar HRIS systems
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Confidence working independently and taking ownership of deliverables
  • Flexibility to be onsite when programs are running and participants need support
