About the Opportunity
ASC is offering an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Advisor to work with the Corporate Quality Assurance Team based in Henderson, WA. This role is responsible for assisting ASC in maintaining certification against ISO9001, ISO14001 and AS45001 and compliance to regulatory requirements and other compliance standards.
Responsibilities
The role of the Quality Assurance Advisor is to provide support to all relevant stakeholders and assurance to the organisation that systems, operations and activities meet or exceed customer requirements. The daily tasks of the position may include but not limited to: Utilisation of relevant quality, environmental and safety standards in collaboration with the maintenance of the Corporate Management System (CMS) and associated databases.
Skills & Experiences
You will be able to demonstrate your willingness to learn and build on your experience together with the ability to communicate and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Also:
- Demonstrated experience in conducting audits in accordance with approved schedules.
- Experience across reporting, managing and following up outcomes of audits, investigations and reviews to facilitate corrective action and improvements.
- Demonstrated expertise in assessing results of quality inspections and tests to assure compliance with the specified technical requirements.
- Proven experience in a team oriented, customer service environment.
- Sound computing skills with working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Diploma in Quality Auditing, Internal and or Lead Auditor qualification (preferred but not essential).
- Previous shipyard experience is preferred although not essential.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you being able to obtain such clearances and approvals. Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, it also requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
