Systems Engineers - Multiple Positions/ Seniority levels

About the Opportunity

Reporting into Systems Engineering Management, there are multiple vacancies available for a variety of seniority levels for Systems Engineers that will support the Life of Type Extension (LOTE) program. The successful applicants will have previous experience working across system reviews, system integration and planning verification.

These roles are Permanent full-time opportunity, based from Osborne, SA.

Responsibilities

• Perform system engineering activities including requirement management, functional analysis, investigations, design review, integration, verification and validation
• Develop systems engineering changes, investigations, analysis, and other deliverables, participating or facilitating stakeholder workshops, including engineering change boards or project meetings
• Provide advice to the customer or stakeholders relating to systems engineering requirements, documentation, deliverables, or projects
• Develop System and Subsystem specifications and process
• Undertake requirements analysis, management and administration with the use of software tools.

Skills & Experiences

• Relevant degree qualification in engineering preferably within a System, Electronics or Mechatronics
• Demonstrated experience in the technical development and system design of engineering projects
• Proven experience in being able to review engineering and program management documentation
• Previous experience or good understanding of ITAR and export control environment
• Demonstrated past experience with system-level testing, test automation and sub-system integration

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals. Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
