About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture – Future Programs, the P&C Advisor will provide advice and support to employees and managers on People and Culture related matters, including managing employee relations cases, job evaluation, contractor changes, relocation for employees and support to future program mobilisation activities.

Responsibilities
- Provide People and Culture related coaching, training and support to employees and managers across the business;
- In collaboration with the broader P&C Team, this support will include performance management, succession planning, employment management, on-boarding, retention, career development, learning and development, and organisational culture
- Provide expert and timely advice on matters relating to employee relations and workforce capability
- Support the implementation of ASC’s operational people strategies in line with direction from the P&C Business Partner and P&C Operations Manager
- Support P&C Business Partner activities ensuring effective support to business occurs in accordance with ASC’s strategic direction and People and Culture Policy
- Undertake investigations regarding misconduct, bullying and harassment and other employee grievances
- Support the People & Culture – Future programs team with mobilisation planning activities
Skills & Experiences
- People & Culture/Human Resources related qualification and/or;
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated understanding in performance management and employee relations
- Understanding of the Fair Work Act and the National Employment Standards
- Ability to effectively explore issues and develop successful solutions
- Ability to manage employee grievances and coach leaders through resolutions
- Skills in stakeholder engagement and relationship development abilities
- Ability to influence applicable internal and external stakeholders
Eligibility
Applicants must hold Australian Citizenship and be eligible to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance that includes providing a current National Police Clearance Certificate if successful.
