This permanent opportunity is based out of Osborne, SA and will support various streams of work across the SSTP Program Management Office.
What will you need to succeed in this role?
- Relevant qualification or;
- Recent experience in a Data and Analytics/Workforce Reporting role,
- Ability to effectively explore issues and develop successful solutions,
- Ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders,
- Strong understanding and demonstrated ability to perform in Workforce Planning,
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and database management,
- Experience in the use of Power BI is desirable,
- Operational experience in Defence, complex manufacturing, mining or construction will be highly regarded,
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills and problem solving skills.
As a Reporting & Workforce Data Analyst at ASC you will:
- Work as part of the Program Management Office and be supported by the Workforce Planning Team.
- Contribute to the SSTP (Sovereign Shipbuilding Talent Pool) program producing Workforce data and reporting.
- Provide quantitative and qualitative analytics to enable the SSTP Program to make recommendations, influence key business decisions and monitor and assess the execution of the program.
- Ensure the SSTP team have the right reporting and information to make data driven decisions and ensure ASC maintains accurate and prompt reporting to the customer – Commonwealth of Australia (CoA) to meet contractual KPIs.
Operating in a complex and diverse environment, this role requires a high degree of flexibility and responsiveness to support ad-hoc requests. Your primary focus will be within the SSTP program, however based on capability and workload you may be asked to support other programs of work within ASC.
This role requires the ability to work to deadlines that are often very tight whilst ensuring quality outcomes are provided with effective consultation in rapidly changing environments and priorities.
You will contribute to a positive people culture that values continuous improvement and develops new processes and procedures in line with the Company’s focus on ‘Lean’ thinking.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold Australian Citizenship and be eligible to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance that includes providing a current National Police Clearance Certificate if successful.
