About the Opportunity
ASC is seeking a full time Social Performance Manager to lead our national Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and deliver initiatives that strengthen ASC’s social licence and community impact. This is a high-profile leadership role focused on inclusion, reconciliation, and meaningful engagement with communities, industry partners, and government stakeholders.
You’ll be working with key stakeholders across both South Australia and Western Australia, collaborating with diverse audiences, from senior leaders to community groups, to design and implement strategies that make a real difference. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ASC’s national CSR strategy, aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead the development and delivery of ASC’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, industry partners, and First Nations communities.
- Facilitate community engagement events and strategic partnerships, including regular travel between states.
- Provide governance, reporting, and compliance oversight for CSR initiatives.
- Mentor and manage a small team, fostering capability and collaboration.
About You
We’re looking for a strategic leader who brings:
- Extensive experience in social impact, community engagement, or stakeholder relations (10+ years preferred).
- Proven ability to design and deliver CSR strategies and RAP commitments.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to engage diverse audiences.
- Cultural awareness and experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments, with a passion for innovation.
- Willingness to travel regularly between SA and WA.
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Science, Community Development, Sustainability, Public Policy, or related field (preferred).
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an NV1 Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
