About the Opportunity
We are seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to join our team at Osborne.
The primary focus of this role is to own the relationship with stakeholders to develop and deliver departmental People Plans. This role largely takes responsibility for the relationships with leaders across the business.
Acting as an advisor, coach and facilitator in people related issues you will effectively support people related decisions within the business areas the role supports. You will facilitate and build leadership capability and develop business unit plans which link People and Culture (P&C) strategies to organisational outcomes.
You will work strategically and operationally and be able to see the big picture. This role will partner with other specialist functions within the wider P&C team to support the business in delivering their overarching strategic plan. The P&C Business Partner will be proactive in resolving P&C related situations while driving best practice outcomes and ensuring compliance with Company policies, procedures and employment legislation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver talent, capability development, workforce planning, change, culture and engagement initiatives that form part of the P&C strategy
- Provide coaching, guidance and advice to business leaders on employment relations matters
- Identify critical people risks / challenges and liaise with P&C specialists, functional teams, and leaders to develop and implement mitigation plans
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or relevant field with a minimum of 8 years’ experience, 3 of which are in a senior operational role is desirable or commensurate experience.
- Experience in establishing trust and developing effective relationships with Senior Executive stakeholders
- High level of communication and influencing skills across multiple levels of stakeholders
- Ability to identify and articulate people issues and to work with relevant stakeholders to develop solutions to those issues
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities and achieve deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- Extensive experience in applying a customer focussed approach to achieve positive business and customer focused outcomes
- Previous experience working in a defence organisation is desirable but not mandatory
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
