Job Description
Our global ecosystem of Solution Partners is a vital part of our growing Enterprise business. The Channel Marketing team at Atlassian helps our partners accelerate their businesses by delivering innovative marketing programs, full-funnel campaigns and assets targeted at relevant personas. On the team, we're seeking a Lead Channel Marketing Manager for APAC who has deep regional expertise including having an understanding of the AuNZ, Greater China, Southeast Asia, Korea and India markets, and can translate global priorities to the local market as well as utilize data and local insights to develop impactful campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and preference in the region. Additionally, you will work closely with the Channel Sales team and partners to support the attainment of annual Channel objectives.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Create and execute a regional channel marketing strategy that enables partners to attract new customers and grow existing accounts
- Leverage an integrated marketing mix including ABM, digital, email, virtual and physical events, webinars, social media and more
- Create channel marketing plans that help local channel sales and partners achieve a healthy pipeline
- Define the co-marketing strategy for APAC that expands Atlassian and our partners reach
- Create an effective APAC Development Fund program strategy that results in high ROI activities
- Understand local partner requirements for program localization and local execution support
- Conduct partner marketing readiness assessments and evaluate their marketing performance and recommend improvements
- Measure, analyze, and report on local channel marketing pipeline-building activities to determine their contribution to pipeline health and evaluate marketing effectiveness/ROI
- Support collection and analysis of indirect buyer insights and audience segmentation
- Advocate on behalf of the APAC channel sales team and partners to educate the Atlassian corporate marketing team on their needs
- Support local channel sales efforts to recruit partners that match local requirements
- Oversight of our internal resource who manages local 3rd party marketing demand generation agencies for APAC
On your first day, we’ll expect that you have:
- Extensive Channel Marketing experience and B2B marketing experience
- Resident marketing expert on the team with a deep understanding of the APAC market, demographics, SWOT
- Highly proficient at developing a regional Channel Marketing short and long term strategy end-to-end, and are entrusted to make smart trade-offs
- Able to act with a great deal of autonomy and diligently drive your strategies and work to completion
- Able to confidently defend prioritization decisions with the team and Channel leadership
- Active in the development of the team (externals) i.e. coaches, mentors and guides the team
It’s also great, if you have:
- Experience using Atlassian productivity tools and Salesforce
- Used partner relationship management tools (e.g., partner portal, learning management system, lead management)
