We are looking for a senior consultant to join our Aurecon Engagement and Change QLD Advisory team.

If you are a change maker, you’ll bring strong technical experience across a variety of infrastructure focussed industries to help organisations transform to deliver better outcomes for their people, communities and stakeholders.

You will work alongside leading experts who use proven methodologies and extensive experience to successfully deliver some of Australia’s most significant and complex transformation programs.

Want to bring ideas to life? You’re in the right place.

Aurecon is a leading design, engineering and advisory business. We recognise that the decisions being made right now will determine the future of everything – from local communities to the sustainability of our clients’ global businesses.

Our Engagement and Change Advisory practice works with clients across a range of sectors to solve complex challenges through industry-leading stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, transformation and change management services.

How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

As a key member of our Engagement and Change Advisory team, you’ll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of government and private infrastructure organisations, delving deep into their challenges to co-create solutions that help shape the future.

You’ll design and implement change at scale, shaping organisational structure, capability, culture, behaviours and leadership capacity that enable our clients to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.

You’ll communicate the value of a wide range of critical infrastructure projects, connect with diverse stakeholder groups and support the change that underpins the success of Australia’s infrastructure projects and organisations – from water and transport, through to energy, resources and defence.

Here are the key things you’ll do:

  • Build strong client and stakeholder relationships across public and private sectors
  • Contribute to business development, proposals, and capability growth
  • Assess, plan and implement programs that solve our clients’ problems
  • Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a high-performing, collaborative team

What are we looking for from you?

Alongside your industry experience in similar management consulting, strategic communications and engagement, research, or equivalent roles, you’ll also have:

  • Proven experience across the different phases of a project’s life cycle, ideally complex or major infrastructure related, but not essential.
  • Strong communication, engagement, problem solving and presentation skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to foster and evolve client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience leading, growing and developing a team to embed a high-performance culture.
  • Relevant tertiary education that demonstrates an ability with written and verbal communication, and a commitment to a relevant discipline in business, management, communications, psychology, science, law or other relevant field.

Ready to bring ideas to life?

Then please apply. Remember, it’s you and how you bring ideas to life which are important. Your background, unique needs and individuality will be valued. Visit our website to learn more at www.aurecongroup.com
