About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Mine Surveyor to lead survey operations across Aurelia Metals Cobar region. You will manage all survey requirements, ensuring compliance with regulations while supporting safe and efficient mining.
Key responsibilities include hazard identification, mine design implementation, and tracking spatial changes. You will also oversee reporting, infrastructure layouts, and emergency planning.
The ideal candidate has extensive underground survey experience, a relevant qualification, and expertise in mine planning software and survey technology. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
Roster: 8/6 (Dayshift only)
Location: Cobar NSW
Travel Options: Residential, DIDO or FIFO

Qualifications and experience
- Possesses a relevant tertiary qualification in Surveying, such as a Bachelor of Spatial Science or equivalent
- Relevant underground survey experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in survey practices
- Experience in Mine Planning software, utilisation of drones and Leica instruments or similar
- NSW registered surveyor status, or the willingness to gain registration, or actively working towards registration, desirable
- Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation

- A valid ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence (manual)
