About the role
We are looking for an experienced Underground Miner – Bogger Operator to join our team at Peak Mine. In this role, you will safely and efficiently operate boggers, ensuring optimal production and development outcomes. You will be responsible for bogging operations, truck loading, and backfilling, while maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards.

We offer relocation support of up to $10,000 for those wanting to live locally in Cobar. If you reside within 800km of Peak Mine, you can DIDO with a travel allowance. Please note: FIFO is not available for this position.
Roster: 7/7 OR 14/14 (Day & Night Shift)
Location: Peak Mine - Cobar NSW
Key responsibilities
- Operate boggers efficiently and safely, maximising utilisation and minimising downtime.
- Comply with bogging and shift plans to reduce rework and wastage.
- Perform production and development bogging, truck loading, and backfilling of stopes and passes.
- Conduct daily pre-start and shutdown checks on equipment.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all reporting requirements.
- Complete all reporting, inspections, pre-start checks, and housekeeping tasks while meeting training and safety requirements.
Qualifications and experience
Mandatory
- At least 4 years relevant underground mining experience
- Minimum of 12 months as a Bogger Operator
- Experience in other mining roles (Truck Driving, Service Crew)
- Current unencumbered ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
- Remote Bogger Operation experience
Desirable
- Security Clearance (UHL)
- NSW Work Safely at Heights Certificate
