Underground Miner - Nipper

With our Great Cobar underground project planned to commence development imminently, we have opportunities for experienced Nippers, who are driven and value growth and the desire to build a dynamic and uplifting high performance culture.
About the role:
We seek individuals with underground experience as Nippers to join our mining operations within the Cobar region.

Roster: 7/7 roster and a 12 hour day (rotating days & nights).
Location: Family friendly residential arrangements in Cobar.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist the mining team and work closely with our underground operators to work efficiently and safely in support of meeting our production targets.
- Ensure the mining team have supplies and equipment in their work areas to ensure an efficient work process.
- Assisting underground Operators and Service Crew as required.
- Keep the work area clean, tidy and organised to support safe work practices.
About You:
You will be familiar with mine operations and willing to work underground, as well as have:
- Commitment to working safely, and living our Values to promote a positive, continuous improvement culture.
- Unencumbered Open C class drivers licence.
- Ability to manage resources effectively with strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work a 7/7 roster rotation days and nights.
- Previous underground experience highly regarded.
- Dangerous Goods Card, Working at Heights and Confined Space are desired.
- Successful completion of pre-employment checks including medical, drug & alcohol testing, Australia police checks and qualification checks.
- Right to work in Australia.
