About the role
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Vehicle Tradespersons to join our Mobile Maintenance Team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining underground mobile mining equipment, including but not limited to loaders, haul trucks, graders, and shotcreters.
Working closely with the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you will ensure the fleet operates at peak efficiency, minimising downtime and maximising productivity in a dynamic underground environment. Your expertise in diagnostics, hydraulics, welding, and routine servicing will be vital in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Roster: 7/7 or 14/14 (Day & Night Shift)
Location: Peak Mine - Cobar, NSW
Travel Options: Resident, DIDO or FIFO

Qualifications and experience
- Trade Certificate – Heavy Diesel Fitter or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience, preferably in underground mining
- Experience with underground mobile plant:
- Sandvik Jumbos
- CAT Loaders
- ITS
- Epiroc Haul Trucks
- Volvo Graders
- Agi Trucks
- Spray Rigs
- Normet Shotcreter
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read pneumatic, electrical, & hydraulic schematics
- Strong commitment to safety
