As we continue to grow, we’re expanding our team with a Data Analyst who is passionate about delivering high‑quality reporting, dashboards, and insights that support informed decision‑making across the business.
This brand‑new role sits within the Digital & Business Transformation team and plays a critical part in enabling senior leadership and operational teams through meaningful analytics, performance tracking, and insight generation. You will work closely with a centralised Business Insights & ETL team who manage the enterprise data warehouse, allowing you to focus on stakeholder engagement, insight delivery, and continuous improvement of reporting assets.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports for executive and operational stakeholders
Partner with senior leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements
Translate business questions into structured data models, measures, and visualisations
Collaborate with the centralised Business Insights & ETL team to source, validate, and optimise enterprise data
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting outputs
Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, proactively providing insights and recommendations
Contribute to continuous improvement of data and reporting practices across Aurion
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a data, analytics, or insights‑focused role
Hands‑on experience designing and implementing reporting frameworks and dashboards
Strong experience with Power BI and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
Solid understanding of data governance and data quality principles
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Self‑starter mindset with accountability and initiative in dynamic environments
Desirable experience includes
Experience working with Azure Data Platform (including Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric)
Understanding of ETL processes and collaboration with data engineering teams
SQL capability for querying and validation
Experience within payroll, HRIS, workforce management, or SaaS environments
