Payroll Process Improvement Specialist

Join our Managed Payroll Services team in a pivotal role to deliver and implement optimised processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of our managed payroll processes.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement process frameworks for our Managed Payroll Services team
- Collaborate with our Governance & Compliance Lead, System Support & Improvement Lead and Change Management team to document and enhance standard processes for each service outcome within our Managed Payroll Services
- Identify and implement improvement strategies with current standard processes and ensure alignment with our governance and compliance framework
- Work closely with our customer facing teams to incorporate regular client feedback into the roadmap for process improvement
- Strategise with our internal Payroll Processing team to obtain feedback on current processes to consider and provide guidance on how these can be improved
- Engage in annual assurance controls program for our Payroll Services in support of our Governance & Compliance Lead
Skills and experience
- In-depth knowledge of the Payroll Industry including processing payroll, understanding legislation and award interpretation is essential
- Extensive knowledge of the Aurion payroll system
- An understanding of outsourced payroll services
- Manage relationships and engage with stakeholders to influence outcomes in support of process improvement
- Demonstrated experience in service and process improvement to deliver exceptional service outcomes
- Highly effective communicator with demonstrated ability to speak to functional, technical, and business opportunities and risks
