Join our in-house Finance team to contribute to the financial stability of the organisation by managing accounts receivable and collections activities.
The Role
We are seeking a versatile finance professional to join our team. In this role, you will manage invoicing, collections, and customer relationships, ensuring effective cash flow management. Additionally, you will support EOM tasks, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. This position offers a chance to contribute to various aspects of our finance operations, not just limited to AR.
- Own the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage accounts receivable and collections for corporate and government clients
- Reconcile accounts receivable balances and follow up on overdue payments
- Act as the main point of contact for customer and vendor invoicing and payment queries
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment-related issues
- Monitor the Purchase Order (PO) process, ensuring accuracy in documentation and timely follow-up with vendors and internal teams.
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, collections performance, and outstanding issues
- Support month-end close with reconciliations and accounting tasks
- Assist with financial analysis to support business planning and decision-making
- Contribute to financial reporting tasks and assist with audits
The Person
We are looking for a highly motivated team member who thrives in a dynamic environment, while demonstrating the following qualities:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively resolve customer and vendor payment inquiries.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to work autonomously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple departments and prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficiency in accounting software such as MS Great Plains or other ERP systems
