Responsibilities
As an integral member of our Managed Payroll team, your responsibilities will include:
Processing core system data entry using our Aurion software which includes; Staff movements, pay processing, leave, service history, superannuation, overpayments/underpayments, trial pays, standard reporting
Maintaining and updating payroll records
Actioning customer requests within agreed service level timeframes, while providing excellent customer service
Ensure compliance with legislation and accuracy in superannuation, PAYG and other deductions
Provide support to our broader Managed Payroll Services team including our Senior Payroll Consultants and other Payroll Consultants
Accurately resolve STP warnings and errors
Process standard Business Process Automation (BPA) forms where additional complexity is required
Conduct quality assurance checks on work undertaken by the team
Work with our process improvement and training team to update procedures to reflect best practice
Skills and experience
We are looking for a highly motivated team member who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. It would be advantageous if you have previously used the Aurion software as a part of a payroll team, and can demonstrate experience in complex payroll calculations alongside the following qualities:
Proven ability in dealing with a high volume transactional payroll environment
Experience and understanding of the Aurion software is highly regarded
Demonstrated knowledge of key payroll principles and processes
Excellent customer service skills to resolve sensitive and competing payroll enquiries while delivering high quality outcomes in a large scale volume of service
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret conditions of employment that applies to an employee, to maintain accurate pay runs
Meticulous attention to detail, and demonstrate a high level of accuracy in data entry
You are a collaborative team member, and are able to contribute to an open and honest environment where ideas and views are discussed freely
