Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving operational excellence and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality? We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Supervisor to join our team. In this pivotal role, your leadership is at the heart of our operations, you will lead and support a highly skilled technician and underground workgroup engaged in network maintenance and emergency response activities.

  • Communicate relevant information to employees and ensure understanding, particularly of critical safety information.
  • Ensure safe completion of work to the required standards of quality, cost and time.
  • Work with other employees who plan and schedule work to validate the schedule and ensure appropriate allocation of labour and resources.
  • Apply the performance development framework to effectively support employee development and career progression.
  • Coordinate emergency functions for storm and emergency response as required.

What you bring to the role

The successful candidate will hold Safety as a core value! You are a skilled and passionate leader who is Electrically qualified (Cert III Electrotechnology or ESI OH). We need you to be experienced in leading and developing field-based employees, in heavy industry and/or high-risk environments. You are a strong communicator who thrives on fostering strong relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders.

You are highly adaptable, agile, and work well within a collaborative environment. We need someone who can plan and prioritise their workloads to meet tight deadlines.

  • Sound knowledge of trade-based practices preferably in the electricity distribution industry
  • Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Electrical Safety Rules accreditation
  • Sound knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations and procedures such as safe working practices, network standards and codes of practice
