Your role at Ausgrid
The Security Architect role develops, communicates, and maintains the approach taken by the organisation for enterprise-wide cyber security architecture and security solution design.
This is achieved through:
- Input into strategies and roadmaps,
- Development of security patterns and standards,
- Provision of cyber security advice and consultancy services to all areas of the business
- Development of solution design for security services
- Performing risk assessment for business engagements
You will provide expertise, leadership and guidance as well as coach and influence stakeholders to improve cyber outcomes. This role will see you provide a proactive focus on security architecture and manage complex security risks.
What we are looking for
To be successful in this role you will have relevant tertiary qualified Security Architect coupled with extensive experience in developing, communicating and maintaining cyber security architectures, road maps, policies and standards. You are experienced in shaping and driving the security design and deployment of major ICT/Cyber transformation programs from a cyber security perspective. We need someone who has demonstrated ability to lead and influence other senior technical and business staff, without these people being direct reports;. You are a strong communicator who thrives in an environment where you must plan and priortise, you are adaptable, agile and work well in a collaborative work group, with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility
- Proven technical and interpersonal skills are required to develop sound communications options with flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to affect change through technical leadership;
- Experience in shaping and driving the security design and deployment of cyber services and solutions in a few of the cyber domains such as:
- Threat and vulnerability management
- Risk and governance tools, technologies and processes
- Cryptographic services
- Desktop and server security architecture
- Cloud security (MS Azure) and resilience architecture
- Network security and web security
- Knowledge of Operational Technology Security architecture and models
